Quality Branded (Quality Meats, Quality Italian Smith & Wollensky, Park Avenue) enlisted Reunion Goods & Services to create a distinct voice for their latest concept, a neighborhood steak joint for ‘the 99-percent’. One month after opening the restaurant was lauded as one of the Top Five Steakhouses in NYC by the Village Voice.

Reunion collaborated on every aspect of the interior and identity design, from naming the restaurant and designing its logo all the way down to its custom printed steak plates and ‘broken’ neon sign.

Among the restaurant’s many light-hearted features is a 20-foot long wood bar layered carved ‘graffiti.’  To make it, Reunion enlisted various superstar illustrators from New York and beyond. The small black and white drawings–which riff on the food, wine and cocktails–were then ‘carved’  into the wood using a secret mix of automation and artistry. The result is a artful reinvention of an old-school bar tradition.
