I am an innovative thinker who leverages creativity and design across a broad range of initiatives. Accomplished in many disciplines, I have a unique ability to orchestrate diverse concepts and fields of expertise to create groundbreaking work. A tireless perfectionist, my strength lies in envisioning a brand’s potential from the highest perspective down to the most intricate and specialized detail.
After receiving my MFA in graphic design at Yale, I began my journey as a commercial film and animation director at Brand New School. Over the next four years, I worked on campaigns for a range of corporate clients including Toyota, Subway, HP and more. As a director, I was responsible for overseeing teams of designers, illustrators, animators, set builders, costume designers and actors. My time at the studio was capped by the rebrand of Cartoon Network which I co-led from pitch through the project's completion.
During this time I also opened a private speakeasy called The Wooly in the Woolworth Building which, in turn, opened my eyes to the rewards of creating physical spaces that the public can experience and interact within. This clubhouse (successful until its interruption last year) gave me insights into how to influence perceptions and behaviors at the ground level. It also provided the opportunity to bring together an incredibly broad and diverse group of people for celebrations and events.
Seeking to synthesize branding, interiors and hospitality, I founded Reunion Goods & Services, a multi-disciplinary design collective, along with a group of like-minded architects and designers. Together we’ve developed consumer-facing brands in the physical world—primarily hotels, restaurants and mixed use retail developments as well as various branded goods and ephemera. The studio has given me a platform to collaborate closely with leaders in hospitality, real estate and other fields. I’ve worked with them to infuse architectural spaces and products with distinct personalities.
I’m currently creative directing a global awareness campaign for Rosemary Square, Related’s mixed-use development in West Palm Beach.
